Amador County Fair entries are now On-Line

You can enter your pictures, pies, pigs, preserves, quilts, cakes, flowers and more at the Amador County Fair On-Line through our website at www.amadorcountyfair.com. Not only is it quick and easy, it will also help the Fair’s efforts to be environmentally friendly.

Don't hesitate to call the Fair at 209-245-6921 if you need help deciphering the language of premiums, divisions, classes, and sweepstakes, how to fill out an entry form and more. As always the Fair will accept entries via the postal service.

The last day to file most exhibit entry forms is Saturday, July 11; however there are some exceptions, check your Exhibit Guide for your specialty.

Be part of the fun! It's A Grape Time to Hukilau at the Amador County Fair July 30 through August 2 in Plymouth, CA. Watch for more fun on-the-spot contests that will be held during the Fair.

Amador County Fair Wine Competition Results Are In


The Amador County Fair competition is one of the most notable in the state, with many of the judges’ selections for awards going on to win at the California State Fair.

Judging was held on May 30 and winemakers whose wines received a gold, silver, or bronze award were invited for sampling during the Amador County Wine Tasting, Friday July 31 at 7:00 pm. The admission price is $25 per person, including a dated souvenir glass and appetizers.
Tickets are limited and can be purchased from the Fair office until the day of the event, as long as they are available. For more ticket information, call the Amador County Fair at 209 245-6921.

Name the Nevada County Fair's Mascot ... and WIN!!


This year’s Nevada County Fair mascot is busy preparing for the annual Fair, “A Hare’s Magical A-Fair,” August 12 – 16. However, she needs a name, and we want to know what you think her name should be.

Visit the Fair’s website at www.nevadacountyfair.com and submit a name for the rabbit. If the name you submit is selected, you win. The lucky winner will receive a Nevada County Fair package that includes two free admission tickets for each day of the Fair, a 5-day parking pass for the Fair, and ride coupons. The contest runs now through July 15.
