Challenge of Champions State-Wide High School Rodeo

The Amador County Fair in Plymouth, CA is proud to host the 2008 Challenge of Champions State-Wide High School Rodeo, Friday March 28 through Sunday March 30. The talented young men and women competing in this event have earned their spot through consistent hard work and outstanding performances at their District Rodeos. We look forward to an entertaining three days of rodeo.

We at the Amador County Fair salute the adults, parents, friends and relatives who have given their time and energy to support these young people. The demanding work of competition cultivates character and provides life-building skills while affording fond memories and lifetime friendships. Our hope is for blue skies, warm temperatures and a fast arena! All at the Amador County Fair wish you the best of luck in all your endeavors.

A rodeo like this shows what our young people can truly do. It is wonderful to see some of them so dedicated. American does have good youth.

Karen,

You are so right about the young people involved with activities such as the Challenge of Champions Rodeo. I am so impressed with the these kids, their competitive spirit, the amount of effort they have devoted to achieving the level expertise to participate in the Challenge and especially the respect they show each other and everyone associated with them. People and programs like these demonstrate the positive values of America and Americans.

High School Rodeo is important to encourage and promote for today's young people. It helps teens challenge themselves through competition and learning horsemanship.
